This is the second year in a row Ram has been the official truck of the Shooting, Hunting and Outdoor Trade Show.

“We are thrilled to have Ram Truck brand return as the official truck of SHOT Show,” said Chris Dolnack, NSSF senior vice president and chief marketing officer. “The Ram Truck brand is synonymous with the rugged, outdoor lifestyle that SHOT Show-exhibiting companies celebrate. Their products and gear are right at home in a Ram truck.”

At the 2013 SHOT Show, four Ram 1500 truck models will be on display in two prime exhibit locations, taking full advantage of the promotional opportunities offered by the newly remodeled Sands Expo lobby. In addition, as the official truck of the SHOT Show, Ram will be promoted through the show’s social media outlets.

“Ram truck owners have demonstrated a passion for hunting and the outdoors,” said Fred Diaz, President and CEO – Ram Truck Brand and Chrysler de Mexico, Chrysler Group LLC. “The Ram Truck brand is committed to supporting the outdoor industry and the SHOT Show allows us to reach thousands of influential industry members. It’s the perfect place to show off the new 2013 Ram Outdoorsman.

For 2013, the Ram 1500 grabs the title of best-in-class fuel economy of 25 mpg for the half-ton segment with a number of exclusive technologies including a new V-6 engine, eight-speed transmission, stop-start system, air suspension and active grille shutters. The Ram 1500 Outdoorsman model takes all of the features most useful to hunters, fishermen, campers and boaters and packages them into one model. It combines convenience, off-road capability and trailer-towing hardware in one package with a name that resonates among its intended users.

With its sponsorship, the Ram Truck brand joins Pinnacle-level sponsor Outdoor Channel, NBC Sports, ArmaLite and GunBroker.com as major supporters of the SHOT Show.

The SHOT Show is owned by the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the trade association for the firearms, ammunition, hunting and shooting sports industry, and is produced and managed by Reed Exhibitions. SHOT Show is the largest trade show of its kind in the world, attracting nearly 60,000 attendees and more than 1,600 companies exhibiting firearms, ammunition, outdoor apparel, law enforcement, optics, cutlery and related products and services.

The SHOT Show will run January 15-18 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas. Learn more about the show at www.shotshow.org.
