  1. Are there 10 round box mags instead of the rotary drum? Are there any other mags that fit your kit (saiga)? It would be more convenient carrying box mags than drum.

  2. can this be done by DIY or is a Gunsmith need special tools aprox cost
will this work on MOSSBERG 12Ga

    • Tom – Installation of the kit can be done at home with standard tools. The kit ships with complete instructions. The instructions can viewed online at http://www.Adaptivetactical.com website. However, if you are not comfortable performing the work yourself you can seek the services of a licensed gunsmith. The standard 5 round box kit retails for $219 and the 10 round rotary kit for $279.

  3. Does the ADAPTIVE’S SIDEWINDER KITS, works for Maverick of Mossberg 12 gauge shotgun???

    • The Sidewinder Venom kits are compatible with 12 gauge Maverick 88 Shotguns with dual action bars. The single action bar 88’s are not compatible with the kits. As an aside, with the trigger group mounted safety and a rear pistol grip adjustable stock the 88’s actually make for a good Sidewinder Venom build-up.

    • With an easily removed magazine tube, the Mossberg was a logical and convenient place for us to start. With the soldered and press fit mag tubes, installing the kits on a Remington is definitely more challenging, but with the volume and popularity of the 870 it is a must have for our future product development.
