During this entire legislative session, NSSF has kept you up to speed on multiple pieces of legislation that would have detrimental consequences for the firearm industry.
SB 5078, which if passed would allow frivolous lawsuits to be brought against firearm manufacturers, retailers and virtually anyone else in the supply chain, is up for a vote today, Thursday, March 2, 2023, in the Washington State Senate.
In what’s becoming the norm in Olympia, the legislature is attempting to bring the legislation to the floor in a clandestine way to avoid the massive uproar and well-deserved scrutiny a bill of this nature would attract.
